No Turkey, but we did have the Mac and Cheese
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This year, we’re celebrating a little differently as we head to Europe for a magical holiday adventure. Instead of turkey and pie, we’re boarding a flight from Washington Dulles to kick off our journey to Nuremberg, Germany, where the festive Christkindlesmarkt awaits.
Our flight departs in the late afternoon, giving us just enough time to enjoy some Thanksgiving parades on TV and football at the airport. Dulles is already dressed for the season, with twinkling lights and holiday travelers filling the terminals. As we wait to board, it’s hard not to feel a mix of excitement and a touch of nervousness—what will this adventure bring?
We’ll be flying overnight and arriving in Frankfurt bright and early at 7:00 AM local time (1 am East Coast). After a quick layover, we’ll catch a short flight to Nuremberg, where the real adventure begins. While it’s a long travel day, we’re looking forward to catching some sleep on the plane and dreaming of the holiday magic ahead.
To all our friends and family back home, we’re sending warm Thanksgiving wishes your way. Enjoy the turkey, stuffing, and pie—we’ll be thinking of you as we cross the Atlantic. Be sure to check back tomorrow for updates as we arrive in Germany and start exploring the festive sights of Nuremberg!
